Season 11 Forza Masters!

After a very long and hard fought Season 10 doubleheader format crowning GTDon as a returning Masters Champion for the third time, we are moving on or back to a more traditional single race format.  

Unique to Season 11 will be the addition of 2 sub-Championships both for Manufacturers and Teams.  In this way, we can more closely emulate Trans Am racing and give our drivers a greater opportunity to compete at more than just the driver's championship.

With only 12 equal cars to pick from (4 from each of the Big Three) picking a car may seem much easier this season, but as several team leaders have noted, the selection process, because of the schedule of tracks, is making it harder.

Last season there were two factors that played a big part in winning the championship.  The car handicap scale, and the Builder Bonus.  It all came down to a single point on the last corner of the last lap.  Jimboslize in his dominating Firebird was as fast or faster than the eventual champion (GTDon in a 70 Corvette) but he had to make up a 2.10pts deficit each round.  He did manage to do this via the bonus point structure for pole, fastest lap etc, and it would have been enough.  But, GTDon kept gaining Builder Bonus points by providing Bronze level drivers with superior tunes enabling them to crack the top 8 each race and this was the winning difference in the end.

With the competitive juices already jacked up for the opening round at Hockenheim Short Feb 5th 7pm EST, now is the time to jump in and be a part of a winning team.  Whether you are a Ford guy, GM fan, or MOPAR man, we have the car and team for you this season.  This is a real chance to drive your favorite car and root for your favorite domestic car maker.
