Season 13 of the Forza Masters!

"To thine own self be true" are words to live by in every endeavor and we here at the IFCA intend to abide by this motto too.  Here at the IFCA, we have been on a steady march toward improving equality and balance within the Trans Am genre of motorsports.  Our focus remains on the uniquely American style of all things Trans Am, from the glory days of its inception in the 1960s to today.

In keeping with this motif, we are excited to incorporate the recent Trans Am development of merging two sub-classes into one. Group 6 combined with Group 12a.  Group 6 are the legends of the sport of American production road racing, while Group 12a is the modern counterpart and future legends of the sport.  Together they offer a new and fresh face to Trans Am racing that gives everyone something to cheer about between man and machine, and youth vs experience.

With 26 cars to pick from, 13 from both classes, we've come up with the same exciting group of cars that are seen racing in this newly formed Trans Am class. This makes for a very wide range of cars not often seen racing in other formats.  Along with our revised driver skill computer rating system, which will incorporate a 4th class (Platinum skill level) by dividing the builds into 4 levels (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum), the difference between drivers has narrowed considerably.  As for the cars themselves, they go through a two-stage testing phase to ensure general equality to within 0.2sec per lap depending on the track.

Our intention is to stay with these cars for the remainder of the life of Forza 7 as Forza 8 looms later in the year. So, whether you are a lover of the old-school legends of the sport, or want to test your skills and favorite modern car against the legends, we think we have a car for you.  

All of the cars reside in S-Class, each with a specific build depending on the skill level of the driver.  The field is limited to 24 drivers with a cut line of 103.25% of the fastest practice lap. Send your best Road America practice lap to GTDon2 to be eligible.

There will be a separate class Champion to that of the overall Champion. So if the overall Champion comes from Group 6, then there will be a Group 12a Champion and vice versa.
