Re: IFCA Forza World Rankings Official List - (Updated:May'09)
i second what snyder says, i dont care about a Hotlap challenge much but either way top 30 overall hotlap top 90 overall time trials, and most of these people are 60 spots ahead of me,
even AMG Impala has won IFCA races, and has improved his overall hotlap and hes next to me...
The last update i was 76 i am now 130, ill take whatever but it confused me.
AMG SinersteR = TTR Sinister if it wasnt sorted out yet Don
Cheers and Merry Christmas / Happy New Years

Hey Don, just a couple quick things...
First and foremost, I'm honored to again be recognized on the IFCA World Rankings List. I don't believe I necessarily deserve my spot, but I will do my best to represent it well for as long as I hold it.
Secondly, to try and help keep the integrity of the list, I noticed that GBR Afghanblack is listed twice at #90 and #105, as well as R2P BradColts at #143 and #224.

Thanks Don! I'm now 32 places higher then I was before, 57th!
I'm infront of you Busa!
And only 1 place behind KIK0.
What, am I really the 3rd VVV-member on the list?!

Re: IFCA Forza World Rankings Official List - (Updated:May'09)
Here are the adjusted rules to accomodate the larger list...
What are the RULES for a challenge match?
- You may only challenge another driver who is not more than 20 places above you. This in effect means that the list is broken down into roughly 12.5 twenty man sections.
- Only in the lowest section can #250 challenge #200 for example, which is actually 50 ranks higher. The drivers in the other higher sections above 200 may only go 20 ranks above their own for a challenge (This rule prevents frivolous challenges by the lower ranked, and forces everyone to have to work to get into a position to challenge #1, someday)
- A superior ranked driver does not have to accept any challenge
- An inferior ranked driver may only officially challenge the same driver 3 times in a quarter, or once per month
- If the superior ranked driver declines all challenges during a 3 month period, he will risk losing 3 positions when the new list is published, only to be offset by any increase in his cumulative statistics from the scoreboards etc.
- You must contact an IFCA Race Official, by announcing your challenge on the IFCA thread provided on this forum
- An Official will help to contact your opponent and arrange the time of the match, IF he accepts the official challenge notice
- Challengers may not dictate when the match will take place, this is at the discretion of those being challenged.
- It will be a best of 3 event, 10 laps each.
- The challenger gets to pick the track, but the challenged gets to pick the car.
- Both competitors must drive the same car and P.I. but can have whatever build they want.
- The car can be any car, class, and P.I.
- No limits will be placed on any assists.
- If the first two races are won by the same driver, the match is over, and no third tie breaker race will take place.
An IFCA Race Official should be present during an official match. If the IFCA Official is actually competing in the match, then a second Race Official is usually required.
These draconian rules that seem to favor the higher ranked are thusly for a reason. The IFCA respects the higher ranked drivers accomplishments, and the integrity of this list, is why. It should be no easy task to challenge a superior in any sporting event. The burden falls on the challenger to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that he deserves to take away the rank of the person he is challenging. To convincingly do so, he must not merely match his superiors performance, but surpass it. The challenger must meet and defeat his opponent on his opponents terms to justifiably lay claim to his rank.
If the Challenger wins, he will be awarded the rank of his defeated opponent. The loser on the other hand will only slide 1 rank below where he was. If the challenger losses however, HE will also slide 1 rank down. Both the effort, and eventual gain can be great for the challenger, and the loss minimal for either loser is the point. It is for this reason that the higher ranked drivers should not be too fearful to accept challenges.

Re: IFCA Forza World Rankings Official List - (Updated:May'09)
I have a question, is it possible to know ones position if they are not on the list?
What I mean is do you know where people would fall roughly if the list were long enough?
In case you didn't know, I'm talking about myself...

I'd like to know where I'd fall also.
Although #6 in exhibition, top 30 overall in C, B, and A do not qualify as any criteria, surely the subjective value of those qualify me onto the list? There are players on there that have done less.

Re: IFCA Forza World Rankings Official List - (Updated:May'09)
There is no data beyond the 250, but, for those who could be on the list even though they do not appear in most of the data points, you can be "evaluated" on a case by case basis. Beyond this, you can simply challenge a listed driver.
I will look over both of your stats and see what the deal is.

Um, gonna have to place my self on that list LOL...challenge some folks dude, it appears to be the best way to get on the list and stay on the list.
I'll tell you this Faux, if you manage to get yourself in range to challenge me, I know I would have my hands full regardless of track and car.

hi,
my name is ComebackDan.
I know I am better than 250 of the 250 players, yet I am not ranked. I will prove this. Good Game. (except davey skillz) That guy defeats my will power.
