IFCA Trans Am Racing Teams

When racing at the IFCA in the Trans Am format, you will be assigned to a racing team based on which car you pick and which team has open slots.  It is then up to you as to how much you will or won't contribute to your team.  

Each team will consist of 3-6 drivers.  It is up to the team members to decide how they want to participate or organize their team.  Without exception, it is better for every team member to actively engage the team and compare performance notes.  The more data you can share, the sooner you and your team will be faster.  The idea here is that three brains are better than one.

The IFCA controls only the team names and the team rosters.  Team governance is entirely up to the members of each team.  Each team should elect a leader, designate practice sessions, decide on a team livery, and discuss strategies.

Because your car selection determines your team, there is a deadline to submit which car you are going to use each season.  This is so that teams can be sorted before the season begins.  Every driver must inform the IFCA what car they intend to use on or before the Wednesday before the opening round of each season.

If it is an established team name with a history of use then it could be approved as an official IFCA team name.  Names intended to be "funny" or frivolous will not be considered.

Yes, "Tailwind Racing" is accepted. But we do need to know what manufacturer they represent for Season 11.  

Each team represents one of the Big 3.  (Although teams rarely switch manufacturers season to season, it does happen.)

I WILL BE SWITCHING TO THE 1970 Dodge Challenger

I think I'm going to use the 66 Nova SS! I seem to be consistently faster on Hockenheim Short with it. I'll try a few other cars and tunes, however, if nothing beats it, GTDon is right, I may as well take the extra points using it. Actually it looks cool too. Has a nice stance.

I see that my Team members have been changed, which is OK with me.

I don't see anywhere how the Team scoring will be calculated or how many of the Team race scores will be counted.

Will all Team members be allowed to race or how will the Race scores be counted?

My best time of 1:08.691in the Rivals section, has not been posted yet.
