I am surprised that Neo and I placed 5th in last weeks race at Daytona.
Maybe because I've run a lot of laps on Daytona the past few weeks.

I'm only running 2:15's at Sebring

I will check out the logos that Speedy created and download a few.

I've been to a couple of continental Tire races the past few years at Laguna Seca and enjoyed it a lot.

Yeah Tom, that car.......is um nice. Luckily I have driven Laguna Seca, I was there with NASA Western States Championship competing in Time Trial in 2015. The Corkscrew is really incredible in person and you can't see how big the drop is until you do the track walk and drive it. I actually did a test on Forza afterwards using a FWD car with the same weight and HP to see how close I could get to the times I did in real life and it was down to the tenth.

Okay, I did some runs in the 2004 911 and set the track lap record with the thing. 2:09.3.  I shared the tune for you Tom/Neo.  I think I can get into the 2:08s with it as a 1900 tune.  Should be a replay on Rivals in S-Class for it.

I could only get a 2:15 today with Nelly's tune.

Then my wheel wouldn't shift with Manual. I had to switch to Automatic.
I tried Forza 6 and had no problems with Manual shifting.

Forza 7 will not let me use "Manual" or "Manual/Clutch" to shift gears.
Same in Rivals.


Tried your tune Don and with Auto Shifting, my best was only 2:18.0.
The tune handles good though.
I used my tune and got the same.
Is it time for me to switch to Projet Cars 2?  lol!

Man Don! I tried the 2004 Porsche and I tried to get close to the lap record. A dirty lap got me 2:10.8's. Clean lap was in the 2:11.9. I usually don't give excuses.....but something an't right? Hahaha! I compared the 911 '19 GT3 RS and the 2004 Porsche is lighter in weight. Plus more race upgrades are on the 2004 then mainly stock on the 911 '19 GT3 RS,but that might be the BoP for both cars. I must admit the 2004 is a fast bugger! LOL. My race line is similar to yours in S time attack. Maybe you got a cheat code to turn off track limits! LOL! From the replay its all good! Unless you got a cheat code for that too!! LMAO!

lol, well, sounds like you are doing better with it now.  I will post some tips for driving the little old Porsche on a different thread that can only help.  It's not truly fair to compare certain general aspects of each Porsche to each other based on some of the numbers.  The reason is, is because newer cars are more advanced in their construction and geometry.  The newer cars tend to be more technically sophisticated with what used to be extra's as standard upgrades.  This means that they can do everything a bit better and the Forza physics modeling captures this difference very well.

You need more laps Tom. lol  Sebring is more complex than Daytona.

I figured out the problem with manual shifting on my wheel.
somehow I had switched the wheel button mode to level 2 instead of level 1.

The wheel is working now.
Now I need to learn how to drive better.

I just set a new lap record with a slightly more forgiving tune I will re-post for you guys.  The tune is easier to drive and less edgy over the rumble strips, and more stable.

FYI. At Sebring when coming out of pits, you won't get full control of the car until almost out on pit lane/track. You have to break hard before you tag your teammate. You might overshoot a bit.

Plus you cant roll reverse that much or you will be back in the pits and the computer will take over. To the left by the jersey wall is a pit marker. Make that your bench mark.
