Season 11 Aug 15th!

Welcome to another new season of IFCA Trans-Am Relay Racing!  It's Season 11, August 15th 7:00pm EST, and a brand new chance to win a championship again!  Only this time with the bonus points in place and the new rule for Factory eligible drivers your chances just increased several-fold.

That's right race fans, to be eligible to drive the maximum Factory performance cars in our 10 car lineup, you can be rated as high as 1954.999 instead of the old 1949.999.  This means that many more drivers who hover right around 1950.000 will easily be eligible to drive the superior Factory cars this season.  

After some extensive reviews, it was statistically determined that the average skill level of all rated drivers had increased over the past year making the original division between the two build levels obsolete in a way.  Allowing more drivers to become eligible to drive the faster Factory cars will bring the series back in line with its original goal to allow slower drivers to be more competitive, and in turn put more pressure on the faster drivers.

For Season 11 we move to the 1980's-90's Trans-Am era cars.  A time when Trans-Am was more open and less sure of what direction it was going to head in.  It was really the pinnacle of production-based road racing at a time before the series began pursuing a more race car driven format.
