Some questions I keep getting are: "Will this team format affect my rating?"  Answer: No.  Everyone is still competing equally against each other even between teammates.  So, the team aspect has no bearing on ratings at all.  It only effects season points, not ratings points.

"How many season points can a team driver gain over a non-team driver?"  Answer: A maximum of 5.25pts by seasons end.  This is why it is more advantageous to be on a team.  You have more points available to you to gain, and your team can help you with your car tune and driving skill.



We also believe that with teams we will see somewhat less contact between drivers too, because no one will want to hit their teammate by mistake or otherwise.  So we think there are several benefits to the drivers, the format, and the league itself that will result in better racing for all using a team format that doesn't hinder team drivers.  In fact it should result in cleaner racing in general.

Another question: "Do team members have to use the same car?"

Answer: No, you just have to have the same livery design.

Okay cool but the team name is not IFCA approved.  No Lude innuendos please. You could use Bush Hammer since this is a real product.

This is correct. It was assumed this was a legit name back then.

If someone needs to get on a team they should post their availability here so they can be matched up.  Organizing or coordinating a team isn't something everyone is good at or likes to try to do.  We understand this. But, everyone needs to be on a team to gain the maximum points available.  

The only type of driver that should not be on a team is one who knows they can not race in all 7 races.  And this is important to note.  Having a fast guy on your team does you absolutely no good if he is going to miss a race.  In fact it hurts your points.  Better is to have reliable drivers who will race all 7 races regardless of their skill level.

So please post here if you need to be placed on a team.
