Season 8 of the Forza Masters!
It's a return to our roots! Trans-Am racing is back in a BIG way! Time to dig your heels in and get ready to take it to the limit of what these cars have to offer!
Season 8 expands from a 4 race season to a 5 race season doubleheader event. Two kinds of Trans-Am cars will be on offer. Late-model modern cars and old-school originals. The late-model cars will be a spec variety car with specific builds, while the old-school cars will have a limited open build formula based on hp/lbs, widest race tires, and roll cage.
Each Saturday's 7pm EST race will consist of two 30min races with a single pit stop. One race for the faster newer cars, and one race for the slower older cars, both at the same track each round.
All you have to do is pick the right cars for you! (You must use the same 2 cars the entire season.) In the late model division, there will be a Bronze level build, but in the original division, everyone is in the same build level.
Series points will be based on combining the finishing order of both races plus bonuses. So for example, if you finish 1st and 5th, the two are added together and divided by 2 = 3rd overall in points.
On the late-model spec side, there are only 7 cars to pick from, but on the old school original Trans-Am side there are 40 cars to pick from! So on one side, it's a rather easy pick, but on the other side it is a bit more challenging to choose.
BoP adjustments if any will be certified after each round to ensure further equality between cars.
Season 8 will begin Saturday Sept 11th 7pm EST.
