IFCA Top Guns!

This is our continuing list of what we here at the IFCA call our "Gunslingers" or those who have managed to win one or more "IFCA Showdowns" to become a "Top Gun."

A "Showdown" is an impromptu single-elimination match race using random stock cars and random tracks. We run these Showdowns after our main events on Wed and Sat. There is no prior race practice allowed in this contest.

A car and track are randomly selected by a number generator and you are placed in it for the first of 4 rounds. Each round you defeat your specific opponent you then move on to the next round. If you are defeated, you are out of the Showdown.

Each round is a ghost race except for the final round. The final round between the last two undefeated drivers is with contact and determines who will earn the title "IFCA Gunslinger" and then is honored here on our "Top Guns" page.

This fun style of racing challenges your track knowledge and ability to adapt to any car quickly.

Each asterisk or star indicates how many times that driver has won a Showdown. Anyone can join a Showdown and it is not a rated contest. We highly recommend that you invite your friends to take a shot at earning their title as an IFCA Gunslinger and Top Gun honoree, especially those who can't do regular league racing.
