Great Cars Inexplicably Missing from Forza!
The following will be an ongoing master list of missing cars in Forza. These are cars that have no good reason not to be in Forza by now.
These are cars that have a much higher relevancy to the automotive world than such mundane basic transportation vehicles as cargo vans and limousines.
This will be a long list so please stop by and check it out from time to time.
1969 1/2 Dodge Super Bee A12 440 Six Pack
1969 1/2 Plymouth Roadrunner A12 440 Six Pack
1969 Camaro COPO 427
1969 Boss Mustang 429

1971 Dodge Dart
Though the 1971 Dodge Dart was of no major significance in the automotive world at the time, the more aggressive angular bodywork made for a more attractive, and some would say the most attractive, of all the Darts ever made. Had it not been for the imaginary oil crisis and money hungry insurance companies, Dodge probably would have continued to upgrade the Dart into what you see here. This, in fact, is a "Retro-Concept" version of a 1970-71 Dart utilizing the state of the art go fast parts of the day. 440 big block, Six Pack, Cross Ram Intake Manifold, Dana 60 3.54 gears, 727 automatic, and A12 fiberglass lift-off hood. Every part on this car was available back in the day, exactly a decade after the very first Dodge Dart Ramchargers hit the drag strip in their then amazing 413 Cross Ram Wedge motors.
In 1962 the Ramchargers were untouchable at the strip and this Dart pays homage to its illustrious Dart predecessors by continuing the theme while using the best parts available up to that time creating what could have been put into production. By today's standards the horsepower is mild by comparison, but back then, it would have been mind-blowing! Anything approaching 500hp was considered the holy grail of performance cars back then, and this one just happens to have 502hp.

Cars T10 forgot
Ford produced 57 special Fairlane 500 two-door hardtops with "R-code" 427 cu in (7.0 L) V8 engine rated at 425 bhp (431 PS; 317 kW) @ 6000 rpm and 480 lb⋅ft (651 N⋅m) @ 3700 rpm of torque,[13] equipped with Ford's "Top-Loader" four-speed manual transmission. Built to qualify the engine/transmission combination for NHRA and IHRA Super Stock racing, they were white and had fiberglass hoods with a forward-facing hood scoop which ended at the edge of the hood.

1996 Indycar, fastest Indycar of all time.
The 1996 Indy500 race marked Firestone's first Indy 500 victory since 1971. In what would be the final year contested under the V8 turbocharged engine formula (until they returned in 2012), on a newly repaved track,[4] all-time track record speeds would be set during practice and time trials. Arie Luyendyk set the one-lap track record (237.498 mph) and the four-lap track record (236.986 mph), while Eddie Cheever ran the fastest race lap (236.103 mph) in Indy 500 history - records that all still stand as of 2017. Luyendyk also ran the fastest practice lap in Indy history (239.260 mph) just a fraction of a second shy of breaking the 240 mph barrier.

1970 AMX Javelin SST 390
1970 AMC Javelin SST with “Go Package”
The 1970 Javelins featured a new front-end design with a wide "twin-venturi" front grille incorporating the headlamps and a longer hood.
Many buyers selected the "Go Package", available with the 360 and 390 four-barrel V8 engines. This package as in prior years included front disc brakes, a dual exhaust system, heavy-duty suspension with anti-sway bar, improved cooling, 3.54 rear axle ratio, and wide Goodyear white-lettered performance tires on styled road wheels.
The top optional 390 cu in (6.4 L) continued, but it was upgraded with new cylinder heads featuring 51 cc combustion chambers and a single 4-barrel Autolite 4300 carburetor,[33] increasing power to 325 bhp (330 PS; 242 kW) @ 5000 rpm and maximum torque of 425 lb⋅ft (576 N⋅m) @ 3200 rpm. The code remained "X" for the engine on the vehicle identification number (VIN). Also new was the “power blister” hood, featuring two large openings as part of a functional cold ram-air induction system; this was included with the "Go Package" option.
The 4-speed manual Javelin was the quickest of the "Pony" cars tested by Popular Science, reaching 0 to 60 miles per hour (97 km/h) in 6.8 seconds.

Trans Am Race Cars
No reason why T10 would ignore these iconic race cars that EVERYONE wants to drive. The American road racing legends of yor, Trans Am. Sure, you can create reasonable facsimile's but the truth is you are really only creating a beefed up street car which is not what the Trans Am cars were. They were heavily modified for racing, with heavy duty everything, and much more robust than what can be re-created in Forza.
The Trans-Am Series was created in 1966 by Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) President John Bishop. Originally known as the Trans-American Sedan Championship, the name was changed to the Trans-American Championship for 1967 and henceforth.[1] The series has in fact gone by a variety of different names through the years (too many to list), some linked to sponsors, some not.[2] It has evolved over time from its original format as a Manufacturers' Championship series for modified passenger sedans and Coupés to its current form as a Drivers' / Manufacturers' Championship Series that is open to GT style racecars. Champion drivers have been officially recognized, and Drivers' Championships awarded since the 1972 season.
Over the years, the series has raced on a variety of different types of race tracks (Permanent and temporary road courses / street circuits / airport circuits) all over the country, as well as at venues in Canada, Mexico, and even San Juan, Puerto Rico in 2003. Since 2015, Trans Am has been a national series (Continental U.S. only), racing at tracks primarily throughout the East Coast, South, and Midwest. In 2017, the new stand-alone West Coast Championship Series raced at four tracks—three on the West Coast, and one in Texas that was a 'shared event' with the Trans Am Championship Series. For 2018, the Willow Springs, CA race was dropped from the schedule, Sonoma, CA was added, and a shared race with the main series was added at INDY. Each Championship Series is independent of the other.

1979 Porsche 935 K3
Although Forza 7 does have a 935 and is perhaps the more impactful of all 935s with its "Moby D i c k" whale tail design, there was another 935 that was even more storied, the 1979 Porsche 935 K3 which won LeMans overall and out of its class, and in the rain!
The Whittington Brothers Kremer 935 is infamous for the fact that the brothers were convicted of drug running and the car was later discovered to have a secret compartment for NOS. It was not determined that they had cheated during LeMans but there were more than a few irregularities with pits stops and replacement parts during the race.

1969 AMC Hurst SC/Rambler
The AMC Hurst SC/Rambler brought together fun and fast like no other car of its era. From the unforgettable “AIR” lettering on the hood scoop to the distinctive 390 Cu. In. label on the hood, the Hurst SC/Rambler and its patriotic paint scheme (both Type A and Type B) were unmistakable. So was its performance.
A combination of 390 cubic inches of big block power and just 3,100 pounds made it a formidable track star. Just 1,512 Hurst SC/Ramblers were made, and model year 1969 was the only year that they were.

1970 Chevrolet Monte Carlo 454 SS
The most sporty and powerful option was the Monte Carlo SS 454 package. Priced at $420, it included a standard Turbo-Jet 454 of 454 CID (7.4 L) with a four-barrel carburetor, rated at 360 hp (269 kW)[5] at 4800 rpm. It also included heavy-duty suspension, wider tires, "SS 454" badging, and an automatic load-leveling rear suspension. The Turbo Hydra-Matic three-speed automatic was the only transmission available for this package. The rear axle came standard with a 3.06 ratio but was available in 2.56 and 3.31, although it still cost $222 (£142) extra. Weighing only a bit more than a comparably equipped Chevelle SS 454, the Monte Carlo SS was quite a fast car, although it accounted for less than 3% of Monte Carlos sold in 1970.

Shelby Series 1 was a high-performance roadster designed by Carroll Shelby and produced by Shelby American.
It was powered by Oldsmobile's 4.0 L L47 Aurora V8 DOHC engine. It has 320 hp (324 PS) at 6500 rpm, 290 lb⋅ft (390 N⋅m) at 5000 rpm and will do 0-60 mph (0–96 km/h) in 4.4 seconds and records 12.8 seconds in the quarter mile at 112 mph (180 km/h). Top speed is 170 mph (273.5 km/h) (15 mph (24 km/h) faster than the 427 Shelby Cobra). The 1998 car weighed 1,202 kg (2,650 lb).
The Series 1 is the only car ever designed and engineered by Carroll Shelby from a clean sheet of paper, and built from the ground up. All other Shelbys are re-engineered models produced by other manufacturers and modified by Shelby.

Toyota
1986 Toyota Celica AAR
Built early in 1986, this is the first of just three Toyota Celica Turbo GTOs constructed by All American Racers.
1985 Toyota Celica 2.0
1986 Toyota Supra GT 3.0 Turbo
1993 Toyota Supra Turbo
1967 Toyota 2000GT MF10
Inexplicably missing, the 2000GT has been in every full Forza version except FM7. I know the Toyota/Forza controversy but I'm just not buying it 100%. Certain cars belong to history regardless of the maker and what they want. There should be no problem recreating any non-current model as it is in the public domain.
The Toyota 2000GT is a limited-production, front-engine, rear-wheel-drive, two-seat, hardtop coupé grand tourer designed by Toyota in collaboration with Yamaha. First displayed to the public at the Tokyo Motor Show in 1965, the 2000GT was manufactured under contract by Yamaha between 1967 and 1970. A halo car for the automaker, in Japan it was exclusive to Toyota's Japanese retail sales channel called Toyota Store.
The 2000GT revolutionized the automotive world's view of Japan, then viewed as a producer of imitative and stodgily practical vehicles. As a sleek, high-performance fastback, it demonstrated its auto makers could produce a sports car to rival the better marques of Europe. Reviewing a pre-production 2000GT in 1967, Road & Track magazine summed up the car as "one of the most exciting and enjoyable cars we've driven", and compared it favorably to the Porsche 911. Today, the 2000GT is seen as the first seriously collectible Japanese car and its first supercar. Examples of the 2000GT have sold at auction for as much as US$1,200,000.[2]

More Fords!
1989 Ford Taurus SHO
In 1984, executives of the Yamaha Motor Corporation signed a contract with the Ford Motor Company to develop, produce, and supply a compact 60° DOHC V6 engine based upon the existing Vulcan engine for transverse application.
The SHO differed from the normal Taurus on the exterior by having a Mercury Sable hood, different bumpers, side cladding, and fog lamps. The interior also
differed, with sports seats and an 8000 rpm tachometer. The SHO had a Yamaha Built V-6 engine that redlined at 7,000 RPM and became the only Taurus to feature a manual transmission since the 4-cylinder MT-5 was discontinued in that year.[1] The transmission was designed and manufactured by Mazda and had the following gear ratios with a final drive ratio of 3.74:
2010 Ford Taurus SHO
After skipping two Ford Taurus generations, the resurrected sport sedan has all-wheel drive and is largely derived from the Ford D3 platform. It features a 3.5 liter direct-injected Twin-turbo EcoBoost V6 producing 365 hp (272 kW) at 5500 rpm and 350 lb⋅ft (475 N⋅m) of torque at 1500-5250 rpm,[20] mated to Ford's 6F55 [21] six-speed SelectShift automatic transmission with a paddle- or console-activated Manual mode.
1955-57 Ford Thunderbird
The first generation of the Ford Thunderbird is a two-seat convertible produced by Ford for the 1955 to 1957 model year, the first 2-seat Ford since 1938. It was developed in response to the 1953 Motorama display at the New York Auto Show, which showed the Chevrolet Corvette. The Corvette in turn was developed in response to the popularity of European sports cars among Americans.
Dubbed a "a personal car of distinction" by Ford, this appellation was also used by the motoring press at the time. The car built upon the heritage of the bespoke roadsters of the 1930s, yet was constructed largely of existing components, marking the first step toward the evolution of the personal luxury car as a mass market segment in the United States.[10] While light weight for its era and fitted with a standard V8 engine, the Thunderbird focused more on driver comfort than speed, and was not a direct rival to either the Corvette or European sports cars. It remained the only two-seat convertible Thunderbird until the eleventh-generation was unveiled in 2002.
For 1957 the front bumper was reshaped, the grille and tailfins were made larger, and larger taillights were fitted. The spare wheel moved back inside the trunk, which had been redesigned to allow it to be mounted vertically. The side "Thunderbird" script moved from the fins to the front fenders. A new option was "Dial-o-Matic" 4-way power seats that would move rearward when the ignition was turned off to allow easier exit and entry. In addition to the standard 292 and optional 312 engines, higher performance versions of the 312 were offered, including two with a 4-barrel Holley carburetor McCulloch/Paxton centrifugal superchargers rated at 300 hp (304 PS; 224 kW) @ 4800 rpm with a maximum torque of 439 lb⋅ft (595 N⋅m; 61 kg⋅m) @ 2600 rpm; and 340 hp (345 PS; 254 kW), respectively. 1957 sales were 21,380, including three extra months of production because the 1958 models were late. The 1957 Thunderbird was the last two-seater Ford sold until the 1982 Ford EXP sport compact car.
1983-88 Ford Thunderbird Turbo Coupe
The ninth generation of the Ford Thunderbird is a personal luxury coupe that was manufactured and marketed by Ford for the 1983 to 1988 model years. In response to the sales downturn of the 1980–1982 Thunderbird, the Thunderbird underwent an extensive model revision for the 1983 model year. While remaining a personal luxury coupe (to minimize overlap with the Ford Mustang), the redesign of the Thunderbird marked a transition of the model range, emphasizing performance and handling over outright luxury and comfort content. As a central theme of the design, the ninth-generation Thunderbird marks the introduction of highly aerodynamic body design to Ford vehicles in North America (reducing its drag coefficient from 0.50 to 0.35), followed by similarly designed model lines, including the 1984 Ford Mustang SVO, 1984 Ford Tempo, 1986 Ford Aerostar, and 1986 Ford Taurus.
The ninth-generation Thunderbird is derived from the Ford Fox platform, as with 1980 Thunderbird (though with a shorter wheelbase). The 4.9L V8 (5.0L by Ford) made its return for 1983, coupled with the first (and only) four-cylinder Thunderbird. Powered by a variant of the Mustang SVO drivetrain, the Thunderbird Turbo Coupe was developed as a high-performance variant. The ninth-generation Thunderbird is the counterpart of the Mercury Cougar (returning solely to a coupe configuration) and the Continental (later Lincoln) Mark VII (1984–1992).
Following its redesign for the 1983 model year, the Thunderbird was available in base, Heritage, or Turbo Coupe, which was the most expensive performance-oriented model. Both the base and the Heritage came standard with a 3.8 L (232 cu in) infraction !!! V6 that produced 110 horsepower (82 kW) mated to a three-speed automatic. A 5.0 L (302 cu in) Windsor V8 with 140 horsepower (100 kW) was available with the former two models as well. The Turbo Coupe, the top-of-the-line model was special for several reasons. It used a turbocharged four-cylinder 2.3 L (140 cu in) engine with Ford's EEC-IV electronic engine control system. Unlike the other models, the Turbo Coupe came with a standard five-speed manual transmission. Other improvements included a limited-slip differential (called "Traction-Lok"), larger tires and wheels, and a sportier interior complete with analog gauges.
1984-86 Mustang SVO
The Mustang SVO was a limited-production version of the Ford Mustang sold from 1984 to 1986, during which time it was one of the fastest, and the most expensive version of the Mustang available. Although it departed both physically and mechanically from any prior version of the Mustang, it held the same spot within the lineup, both in terms of performance over "lesser" variants and in prestige, as had variants such as the Shelby-tuned and "BOSS" Mustangs of the 1960s and 1970s.
In the wake of the faux oil crisis of the 1970s, the American muscle car had effectively died off, the result of rising fuel costs, government regulation, insurance costs and the advent of more strict safety and emissions controls imposed worldwide. As a result, the "big three" automakers (Ford, General Motors, and Chrysler Corporation), for whom muscle cars had been a steady and reliable source of income, began to suffer somewhat financially. Many of the great vehicles of the muscle car era had been either completely discontinued or had been painstakingly detuned to help keep them in compliance with new federal emissions regulations and the rising demand for better gas mileage. The Mustang, although still in production, had suffered greatly through this time; diminished power output and Ford's seemingly complete inability to come up with an attractive body style in the postfastback era were major issues. The Mustang had also been considered to be replaced by a joint engineering effort with Mazda, but Mustang enthusiasts protested, and the car that had been prepared to replace the Mustang was eventually introduced as the Ford Probe.
Ford began to make a major push forward with the Mustang in 1982, nearly completely reinventing every aspect of the vehicle, which included putting a new emphasis on the model's sporty nature. Just prior to this, in the fall of 1981, Ford decided to form a division that could oversee both the company's racing program and the production of limited-edition, high-performance, street-legal vehicles based on or taking technology from the race vehicles. Officially, the division was called the Special Vehicle Operations Department, but the public came to know them as simply SVO (S-V-O). Tasked with developing something that was both plainly American and competent to compete with entry-level European sports cars of the day, the team went to work on the new Mustang, deeming that it was the most obvious choice as a platform basis for a high-performance vehicle.
Still ultimately concerned with issues such as fuel consumption and emissions, SVO engineers opted to pass over the venerable production 5.0 liter V-8 in lieu of an updated, turbocharged, and stronger version of Ford's 2.3 liter inline four, originally used in the Pinto and Ford Mustang II. The installation of the four-cylinder engine helped with weight distribution, due to the engine being installed perpendicular to, and behind, the front axle, thereby improving handling. Endowing the engine with an advanced, computer-controlled fuel injection system and an intercooled turbocharger system helped push power output to 175 horsepower, fairly high for the time. In addition, a "fuel grade" switch was added to the dash, allowing the driver to adjust the vehicle's performance level depending on whether premium or standard grade fuel were being used, as the engine was not installed with a knock sensor. A factory-installed Hurst shifter was made standard to improve feel and quickness. With fine tuning and the addition of a new water-cooling system, power output rose to 200 horsepower (149 kW) for 1986 (205 horsepower (153 kW) for 439 85.5 SVOs). Also, the 1986 SVO had two new "aero" headlights to distinguish itself from other Mustangs, which still used rectangular quad headlights at the time. These headlights were designed for the 1984 model, but regulations would not allow them to be used until the mid-1985 update, and they would be used on all Mustangs in 1987. The vehicle's standard Borg-Warner five-speed manual transmission was updated then, as well, receiving revised gearing to match the new 3:73 rear end ratio.

1958 Chevrolet Bel Air
The 1958 Chevy Impala Bel Air was a huge departure from the "Tri-Five" 55-57 in terms of design as it attempted to be more sleek and youthful than its popular predecessors. But it was heavier and though it sold well was but a shadow of the sales figures from the Tri-Five before it. Many saw the 58 Impala as the ugly duck or even Chevy's version of the Ford Edsel, that is until the release of the iconic movie "American Grafitti" featuring the car as a modest middle income but fun car for the youth of the 1950s and early 60s.
1965 Chevrolet Corvair Monza Corsa turbo 180hp
The Corvair second generation arrived for model year 1965, noted for its lack of a "B" pillar and a new fully independent suspension replacing the original swing axle rear suspension. The Corvair used coil springs at each wheel.
The engine was unusual in offering four single-throat carburetors, to which were added larger valves and a dual exhaust system. A 180 hp (134 kW; 182 PS) turbocharged engine was optional on the Corsa, which offered either standard three-speed or optional (US$92) four-speed manual transmissions.[21] The 140 hp (104 kW; 142 PS) engine was optional on 500 and Monza models with manual or Powerglide transmissions. All engines got some of the heavy-duty internal parts from the Turbocharged engine for better durability.
New refinements appeared on the 1965 redesign.[22] The Corsa came standard with an instrument panel featuring a 140 mph (230 km/h) speedometer with resettable trip odometer, a 6,000 rpm tachometer, cylinder head temperature gauge, analog clock with a sweeping second hand, a manifold vacuum/pressure gauge and fuel gauge. A much better heater system, larger brakes borrowed from the Chevelle, a stronger differential ring gear, a Delcotron alternator (replacing the generator), and significant chassis refinements were made. Out back, a new fully articulated rear suspension virtually eliminated the danger of the previous generation's swing axles, and was based on the contemporary Corvette Sting Ray (Corvair used coil springs while the Sting Ray uses a transverse leaf). AM/FM stereo radio, in-dash All Weather Air Conditioning, telescopically adjustable steering column, and a Special Purpose Chassis Equipment ("Z17") handling package, consisting of a special performance suspension and quick ratio steering box, were significant new options for 1965. The Monza and Corvair 500 Sport Sedans were the only compact cars ever available in the U.S. as pillarless four door hardtops.

...and the list goes on
Thank you to everyone who helped compile this list of inexplicably missing cars in Forza. As you have seen we have listed over 60 significant cars Turn 10 has either had at one time or entirely ignored and has never had. Most of the street cars listed are not uber-rare and can be seen at just about any summer car show in any city in America.
T10 has a bad habit of not filling out their own collection of cars of a particular group making it difficult to formulate competitive races with cars of the same series. They might have one or two cars from a particular era instead of the whole line up. Then the cars that they do have seem to be created independently of each other so that they are not naturally competitive. One car will be way too fast for the other for example. This lack of completeness and uniformity creates a frustrating inequality and futility when trying to race many of the cars T10 picks. Basically making some of the car selections offered by T10 mostly useless to try to competitively race even within their own classifications.
We know T10 occasionally monitors the IFCA or is told what we are saying. Our hope is that they will see this page and get the message that greater order or attention should be paid to the entire car list and that vast numbers of significant cars are indeed missing from the game. Please feel free to post this link to https://forums.forzamotorsport.net/turn10_topics101_Forza-Motorsport-7-Discussion.aspx

1998 Shelby Series 1
