Re: Radical Racing League Rules/Regs
Format/Rules
The iRUF Radical Racing League will be a short format series with the each race being 30 minutes in length. There will be one race a week on mid to short tracks. The format will remain similar to the iRUF GT3 Cup with the exception of race starts and the addition of cautions. The first race of the season will start with a random grid order and each following race will be based on the inverted results of the previous race.
Races will be as close to 30 minutes as the laps allow, depending on fastest practice time. Limited damage, collisions always on. One mandatory Pit stop during the race, not on the first or last five laps. A caution will be called if two or more cars have an incident that results in mechanical damage, aero damage will be ignored. Once under caution, the leader will maintain a speed of 60 mph, when the pack is collected a race official will announce the opening of pit road, if you pit before the announcement it will not count toward your mandatory. The race will go green when the pack has been collected and one full lap is completed under caution. When in the pits you MUST receive service, if no service is received you will be required to return to the pits again to take it. There will be one restart available if a caution is called on the first two laps.
There will be a purse of $50,000,000 forza game credits. 25 for first place, 15 for second, and 10 for third at the end of six races. First place is worth 100 points, second 98, third 96 and so on. To score points in a given race you must complete 70% of the total laps. Anything less will be scored as a DNF. In order to qualify for cash prizes at the end of the season you must meet two requirements. First is you must have a racing livery on your car, not the factory supplied one, for the entire season. Second, you must attend a minimum of five of the races.
As always we expect drivers to be respectful and follow the general rules put in place by the IFCA. Disputes should be presented to a race official after the race for review and not discussed during a race, any arguing with or berating of another driver during the session could result in disqualification.
The first five races will be rated by the IFCA world rankings, the sixth will be for series points only since the IFCA season ends on July 1st.

Rule Update
There appeared to be some confusion on race restarts. The lead car will provide a countdown "3 2 1 GO GO GO" The leader will do this as close to the start/finish line as possible. You must wait until you hear the first "GO" before you accelerate. Also, you may not pass ANYONE until the start/finish line. Race one was a little screwey since people were calling the start to far before the start/finish line.
