Many have wanted to see how each racing organization compares to each other using the IFCA Ratings Computer formula, so here they are!
 
This is the only quantitative comparison we know of anywhere, between the polar opposite motorsports of NASCAR vs F1. It may seem a little skewed in favor of F1 due to the fact that there are so few drivers in F1 compared to NASCAR as to which group is superior, but we believe that if F1 had a similar number of drivers to that of NASCAR, their ratings spread would be relatively the same as the NASCAR spread. Nevertheless it is a fascinating comparison that will no doubt serve to stoke the fires of opinion as to who might be the most supreme driver in the world regardless of the series they hail from.
 
We will continue to keep track of the real series and perhaps add others to the list in the future. But understand what our ratings are. They are a recent history "performance rating" of each driver indicating which drivers are either at the top of their game behind the wheel, and which drivers are not, apart from the series points they have earned. It is interesting to compare their IFCA Ranking to their series points rankings because it gives you some indication of whether or not a particular driver is performing at a rate that lives up to the series points he has earned, or if he is doing better than the series points suggest.
 
Yes, we may eventually include our Forza simulation racers on the same list, but not yet.
