TORA ISCC - AAR Team Target TRT Blog
It was a very good race for Team (Privateer, actually) Target TRT. The car started 3rd of 3 LMP2 cars in lobby E.
The best thing about it though, is I finished 1 second in front of Posixmosh (unofficially - 7:20 P.M. EST), who started in a different lobby (He however had a penalty of 7 seconds by qualifying one lobby below me. This didn't affect me, as the next car who finished above me finished 19 seconds ahead.) The second best thing is that in the lobby, 1 LMP2 car crashed and quit early, and the other crashed later and I almost lapped him. So I finished 1st in LMP2 Lobby E, and 9th in LMP2. (Also, finished 21st overall).
Edit: I believe they adjusted it to 2 seconds, and I officially finished 10th; Posixmosh 11th. [10:10 P.M. EST]
Edit: I found out that they adjusted the lobby penalty from 7 seconds to 4 seconds. [Announced 10 P.M. EST]

I guess the results are now official: 10th in LMP2. Points: 10th in LMP2, 2nd in Privateer!!! In the engines championship, Target Brand Engines is in 6th out of 8th in points. Target Brand Tires are also 6th.
In two weeks, the series goes to a well-visited racetrack here at the IFCA: Sunset Peninsula Circuit Reverse.

Alright. Time to write about Race #2...
So it worked out pretty well at first, I qualified 6th on P2 at the IFCA's "Home Track" (Sunset Peninsula), earning me a "C" Lobby spot. The first 30 minutes of the race went well, I was 2nd of 2 P2 cars in my lobby, which I didn't mind.
Then......well.....I had to schedule a trip to Target to get some new parts....
At 30 minutes, I was passing the GTE car of CoolG84. What I didn't realize is that HE IS FROM HUNGARY! So there was heck of a language barrier . As a matter of fact, he didn't communicate at all. So he let me by, which is against the ISCC Rules. It would've been alright, but FrnachittiFan decided to ride my tailgate into the corner, and when I let off, he rammed right into me.
So I finished last. And I filed a stewards inquiry.
I was fortunate enough to win the inquiry, therefore, FranchittiFan got a ban from Qualifying in Round 3, at Mazda Raceway next week.
Mazda Raceway, first of two California Races. Can't wait!

Re: TORA ISCC - AAR Team Target TRT Blog
I realized that I never wrote about Mazda Raceway (I never write when there is an impending investigation, so after it concluded I forgot). All I'll say is that it was a nightmare.
Road America went very well. It's the first race I've finished within 10 miles of the P2 leader in a couple of months! Qualifying was the only downside, I had to pull over for the first 3 minutes due to something I had to take care of, and when I started the next flying lap, my Xbox 360 Wheel pulled to the right. I was able to handle it, but at the end of the lap, the wheel finally crashed and my car drove straight through Canada Corner.
On to THE TOUGHEST track in the series, Sedona Speedway Full.
