Lobby settings and how to join lobby
Lobby settings and how to join lobby
This will be the lobby settings each race.
The only change will be to the number of laps per track, and the track.
It is especially important for the B-Lobby Race Directors to take these settings down and save them in the game. In fact it would be best if everyone applied these settings and saved them so that they can practice race conditions with their team.
Who are the B-lobby Race Directors then? The 2 drivers sitting on the front row at the time of the race.
One of those two drivers needs to set the lobby up with the correct settings you see below. They will also have to take a picture or screenshot of the finishing order and save the replay.
Everyone else should have the Race Directors on their friends list so you can find the lobby on race day. The Race Directors should try to send friend invites to all of the B-lobby drivers too.
So, if it looks like you are going to be on the front row of the B-lobby, then you are a Race Director. You will know by Friday night.

Groups are set to drive type and named:
1.) RWD 2.) AWD 3.) FWD
It is important to mandate the specified drivetrain for each group so that no one (Eclipse drivers) can switch from an AWD drivetrain to a RWD.
The procedure to properly enter the lobby and select your car is by selecting the correct group first. It works like this:
1.) After joining the lobby click the Y button to display the Driver List.
2.) Highlight your name and click the A button and then click Change Car Group.
3.) Back out of the Driver List and go to Cars and then Select Car.
4.) Click on Buy or Rent Cars.
5.) Click on My Cars at the far left and top of page, and then select your car.
These steps can be minimized if you enter the lobby already in your correct car.

New starting procedure
The new lobby settings have been updated above for setting the grid and the race. Again, if you are 1st and 2nd in the B-lobby you will be the lobby leaders. It's important to get everyone on your friends list so you can invite them in, or they can see you and join.
The new start procedure is to do what we call a 1lap roll call grid order first, based on your practice lap/qualy grid order. This is how it works:
1. Everyone will immediately drive to turn 1, and park, and then wait for their name to be called out by the lobby leader.
2. When your name is called you will as quickly as possible finish the 1lap and then wait for everyone else to finish their 1lap.
3. When the 1lap roll call is complete everyone should appear in the correct order for the following race.
The actual race will have a 0.30sec delay standing start for each car, and be 58laps long. We will have the weather set to Variable in hopes of getting different conditions during the race.
We think that this type of start will be easier than the formation lap we attempted to use in the first race. It is important for lobby leaders or potential lobby leaders to save these lobby settings. That way you can just load the 1lap grid settings right away, and then immediately load the race settings after you set the grid. You don't want to try to manually change all the settings, it takes too long and you will miss something.
Good luck
