Who builds the best cars?

Always a great point of contention and one we would like to add to here at the home of simulated Trans-Am Endurance Racing.  Which simulated manufacturer is #1?  Hard to say, but we are adding to the debate by recording the race results after 4 seasons of Trans-Am racing.  It will take at least all of 2020 to crown a truly dominant manufacturer as king of the hill, however.  In so doing we have taken great pains and made enormous strides to equalize all of the cars we offer so that a fair and honest comparison can be had based on outcomes alone.

To date Chevrolet and Dodge have broken away from the pack, with Chevrolet over-taking Dodge after this last season. Although Dodge had no entry available to run in Season 6, no one picked a Chevrolet product back in Season 3. In a somewhat distant 3rd place is Ford, but it had no entries for 2 of the 4 seasons recorded, so look to Ford to begin to close the gap in the future.

The nearest non-domestic manufacturer is down in 4th place is Porsche.  They too only have 2 seasons of racing to their credit.

It's good to see the "Big 3" on top in the unique format we use here at the IFCA.  The imports (and really all of the cars) have been retooled and tested for improved car control and equality heading into 2020.  So don't think the small motor imports don't have a chance, they are stepping up their efforts and will be a real force to reckon with.

1.60s-70s with 22 different brands and 52 cars
2.80s-90s with 8 different brands and 10 cars
3.2k with 9 different brands and 10 cars
4.Modern T/A with 3 and soon to be 4 different brands and 11 cars
