Season 2 Qualifying

To get into the series you don't have to sign up, but you do have to qualify in with a teammate.  Your times are averaged to get your official qualy time.  There are 5 remaining Saturdays to qualify.  Each Saturday starting at 6:00 EST you can make another 4 lap attempt in any car.  A lobby will be open and available to do this each Saturday before the opening round on Jan 5th.

As you can see I've begun to marry people up to teammates who don't have one to give us a better look at what is happening.  It appears there will be at least 3 teams competing for 1 remaining spot in GS which means 2 teams are going to get bumped down into the ST Class.  And it would appear that the ST Class will fill up to 7 teams meaning that 1 team will be pushed out to reserve status.  Reserve means if a team doesn't show, the Reserve team can then start the season and stay.  There are no Reserve teams for GS, they will simply draw from the ST class if available.

If you see your name paired with someone, please send them a PM and FR (Private Message and Friend Request) and make contact with them to form your team.

Each team should have a team name this week.

Yes, there are team liveries required.  You need to be in the same livery but can have different colors.

Yes, you need to use the IFCA number plate but can use any number.  Please search "IFCA" for the number plate.

Because this Saturday is the LAST CHANCE to improve your times, we will flexibly offer everyone the opportunity to qualify whenever myself and SPEEDYJAB are available this week to make it easier.  So if you can't make it Saturday, and you see us on, shoot us a message and we will set up a lobby.

One other thing, don't be surprised if we see "Ringers" come in just to help qualify a team this week.  This is permitted.  We allow a specialist who may not have the time to race but is enormously fast to come in and lay down a fast lap for a team.  But he has to run a 2000 level car or less and can only run for 1 team.  Teams are only allowed 1 Ringer.

You so sly Tom.  If you see us on and want to qualify your last time before this Saturday, and before the season begins on Jan 5th, then send us an invite and we will set up a lobby for your last attempt.  Everyone gets 1 last attempt this week.  The last possible day to make your last attempt is Saturday night.

As for Ringers, yes, each team is allowed 1 Ringer who may make 1 attempt to improve the team time.  He can only run for 1 team and can't be from another team.
