The IFCA World Championship is Over!
Yesterday, the final round of the 2013 IFCA World Championship took place at Sunset Peninsula Reverse. The car used in the ultimate round was an A-class and super-hard-to-handle Ford GT.
After the 5 lap qualifying session, Sp33d Rac3r 28x won the pole by only .05 seconds over TG Haydo. MTBVator qualified 3rd.
In the race, however, Sp33d Rac3r ran into bad luck at the entrance to the pit lane in his only required pit stop. Once he entered, his car, now controlled by AI, collided with the pitlane barrier. Though he sustained no damage, the time lost was enough for TG Haydo to take the lead and win the World Championship. MTBVator drove a very good race to finish 3rd. Manuel CR was probably the biggest surpise, he finished 4th to claim the final money-paying position from his 5th-place starting spot.
All of the results are in the table below:
In post-race inspection, however, TG Haydo was found with the wrong numberplate. This was likely due to confusion that is commonplace when a driver asks for the car build and livery rules over XBL Party chat 20 minutes before the race after complaining of website navigation difficulties. In his last decision as Admin at the IFCA, Don has decided to excuse TG Haydo from disqualification.
Therefore, TG Haydo will win the #1 for 2014 and $150. Sp33d Rac3r 28x will win #2 and $75. MTBVator will win #3 and $30, and Manuel CR will win $15. All prizes are provided by AAR GTDon.
Congratulations to the winners and competitors. Thanks to everyone who raced at the IFCA this season. Lastly, thanks to SimRacers, Team DMR Int., Forza Sports Car Series, TYA, Forza Racers Union, Forza Motorsport UK, Xbox Pro League Racing, and the Nein Shiza Autosport Racing League for submitting their results to our ratings system and giving their drivers a chance at the World Championship. We hope that you will submit your results to the Forza League Racers to be added to the new list.

Re: The IFCA World Championship is Over!
WOOHOO!!!! $30!!!! 30/1600= 0.01875. If this were an hourly position my wages would be $0.02 per hour. I'll stick to building elevators. Don't tell my wife that my forza in game stats have me playing for in excess of 1600 hours.
Podium speech time:
First off I'd like to thank the IFCA for putting together all the events this season that culminated with this finale. My wife, for her mastery of the remote control (not shutting down the Xbox system with the universal remote at key moments). My fellow competitors. Lastly, my parents, without whom I would not be here today.

Nice job Vator! You really did over achieve this year through a lot of hard work on the track. I doubt that anyone would have predicted you to get a podium in the final. Well done, but now that the cat is out of the bag, people will be gunning for you. lolMTB_Vator wrote:WOOHOO!!!! $30!!!! 30/1600= 0.01875. Re: The IFCA World Championship is Over!
Yep, you sent me the build with a tune on it and I only recall doing some minor tweaks to suit my wheel and transmission preferences. The Mustang, that was intended for round two, was your tune untouched. It has won its division numerous times running the ABC'S. Good job!
