Re: Race Recaps
Had a fun first race and not sure how you guys go so fast lol. Guess I need to do some tuning except for arrow.
Sorry don for about costing you a race I was staying low and took it easy because my car was sliding outside on that corner and I didn't want to hit you.
Hopefully I'm more competitive next race

Re: Race Recaps
It was an odd race, but I haven't had a perfect Daytona-style race in a while, if ever.
@Soundwave: I looked back at the replay and the bumping incident. Rather than lag, it appears as if I had a wheel glitch which shifted my car down to third gear, which automatically lost me 10+ M.P.H., and you couldn't react fast enough. Thanks for helping me with maintaining a good race speed by sticking with me; we still got ourselves a good finish because of that.
The only I wish we had is a full room of 16, because then we might have more cars to draft with, and perhaps regain lost ground through drafting.
Don, I wish I could've stayed with you, but I let off the throttle somewhere, and then I had the wheel glitch/lag spike, and I could never recover.

Re: Race Recaps
Well that was a lot of fun, feel bad for venom. We had practiced earlier on race plan but oh we'll lol
Back to the race, all great until my lag/glitch/bump incident with Abe. Which when then went to good haha but really had blast trying to push Abe. Then realizing with 6 minutes left maybe I'm faster haha but I owed it of Abe to keep him up so it's all good!
But the last Six minutes was getting good, then Vator hits the wall out of 4. Finished pretty good with everything that happened out of my control, so I'm still very happy to get 4th see you guys next week!

Re: Race Recaps
How close to my rear were you when I lost it? I hadn't got loose in that turn for 39 minutes, never lifted, and don't recall missing my line prior to you guys passing me. I just wonder if you were right there and it upset : my car, or if I made a mistake and can't remember

Re: Race Recaps
Under a hundred feet, I don't think I was that close to yet yet cuz I just picked up on your draft going down that back stretch lol my sling shot worked tho

Re: Race Recaps
Yes, I was watching the foot gap meter dropping rapidly down that back stretch. Who know's maybe I glanced up at it in turn4, leading to my downfall. The circumstances that put you in front of Abe were my ultimate undoing, lol. Your car leading your two car train was much quicker than me by myself.

Re: Race Recaps
Yeah after drafting him for so long I noticed I wasn't even holding it full throttle lol so once I realized the scenario that we weren't catching or losing you, I decided to sling shot in hopes we could catch you. At that point I realized I was faster in front and it was just a matter of time lol
But tbh, I was gonna ditch Abe the last minute to pull a top 5. Lol didn't think I would manage a 4th with the damage I had might of had a chance a Don if I lead Abe when I had the chane instead of following... Hmmmm haha

Re: Race Recaps
It was great racing at IFCA again.
If only the lagging could be eliminated, it would be much better. I saw lagging with Abe and Axe and me.
Unca and I seemed to pull ahead far enough to stay out of trouble.
Too bad the lap times don't show.
I watched the replay up till it cut off with 10 min to go
I don't know why GTDon got by himself, but that helped EZT Uncabunca and me.
With Venom and OneShot getting damage early, that made the race a little boring after the pit stop.
Even though I will have the pole next week at Motegi, I'm not sure how long I can stay in front as Motegi s not a good track for me.
With Don starting 3rd, I expect him to move up front soon after the start of the race. Watch out for Venom also, as he can creep in when you don't expect it.
I'm racing without Force Feedback on my MS wheel and hope to get a replacement from a friend by Road America, as I'll need it on that track.
Anything can happen in each race, so don't give up.
See you at Motegi.
