How likely are you to join The Forza Sports Car Series
FSCS State of the Series Announcement
The New Class Structure for season 9 is as such:
GT: Remains the premier class. There have been cars added to the available list and a few have been removed.
GS: Renamed from GTC. This class structure remains fairly the same for season 9 with a few cars no longer available to race.
ST:
* The new class of The Forza Sports Car Series.
* Front Wheel Drive or Rear Wheel Drive Cars only.
* No aero aids available and will be for the most part the introductory class / Support Series.
* The ST cars will not be multi-class racing.
* The races will be 25 laps sprints with no mandatory pit.
* The races will be held on Sunday. The tentative time is set for 1:00PM PST in coincidence with the current track schedule.
* There will be a substitute track scheduled for Le Mans. ST will not race LeMans

Seaons 9 Schedule
Season start date undecided as of yet due to approaching holidays etc.
Season 9 schedule is set up primarily with a North American first half and then a diverse worldly second half.
Returning Sponsor Confirmed ALMS
Gamestop has not replied. (Just sent out letter Monday)
Also working on something for a per race prize.
Longer Schedule because I am working on a deeper payout beyond the top 3. Top 10 maybe top 15. (fingers crossed)

2 week proposed break before world wide swing
8. Bernese Alps Festival Circuit

11. Mugello Autodromo Internazionale Full Circuit
12. Silverstone Grand Prix Circuit
13. Nurburgring Grand Prix Circuit
14. Suzuka Circuit Full

* T-shirts for Exhibition winners of Season 7 will be finished next week and shipped. Cincosport never provided as promised and I paid to have them made with another company*
Axcel Sports Owner has said that since the ALMS, Grand Am and other series Axcel Sports provides racing gear for are over he will provide the winners of Season 7 finally soon.
Gamestop Gift cards are here in an envelope to be mailed out next week once champions and top 3 are decided.
ALMS will be contacted and their sponsored items will be sent to me and then I will get them to their appropriate racers for season 8.
The FSCS and the IFCA will be teaming up to nationally rank the racers of this series. This will add to the level of depth and interest to the series. It may also bring in some new faces.
3S Design will be the Official Livery design house for the FSCS and will have it's own dedicated section on the Forum soon.
I will soon be looking for and requesting volunteers to help with various duties of the series such as Room Host, Tech Inspector etc. PLEASE CONSIDER HELPING your help is what keeps the Forza Sports Car Series strong and viable.
Those of you who are racing at the Nurburgring this Sunday...GOOD LUCK and see you in Germany!

Sorry, I've been out for a while because my wheel wire broke. It is now fixed, and I'm looking forward to the final few races, though I'll likely not be able to win anything special.

ST Class runs at 2pm PST - 25 Lap Sprint Races
GT & GS Class runs at 5pm PST - Endurance Races of 40 - 50 Laps (except Le Mans & Nurburgring)

There can only be minor Perfromace Balancing adjustments made in the P1 class of cars as well as with the smaller GTR class of cars.
The GT,GS, CT, & ST class will continue with the current performance balancing system.
Spec Miata is a SPEC class and there will be no Performance Balancing of these cars.
I feel this will make the Forza Sports Car Series cover just about the entire gambit of Sports Cars and will increase our appeal to a wider crowd of racers. It will of course make for some great on track racing which is always the goal!

Due to the fact that the series is being pushed back a week and starting after the the 2013 IFCA Forza League World Championship on Saturday September 28th at 1:00 EST, we will add some pressure and rate this series for the 2014 Forza League Racer's season. This will be the first series rated for next year's 2014 season.
These ratings will transfer over to your Forza 5 efforts in the future too. Although each Forza iteration has been different in terms of feel, generally the fast guys remain fast and the slow guys remain slow, with a few exceptions.
