112 F4H Gashi X vs 111 VVV Koenigsegg - (2 - 1) - DONE!
I have decided to either go up in rank by winning or down in rank by losing. There is no bad blood nor do I think I am faster than anyone on this list. I will start with the driver above me and work my way up.
So that means, Koenigsegg, I challenge you to a race at Road Atlanta Short.
Please let me know if you want to accept or not, if so, what car.
Thanks!

Absolutely, what time and day would be best for you? I am in the pacific time zone and weekends any time would work best for me.

UTC+1 @ 1630, yes I can. I am ready to have my arse handed to me. Lol. I am going to need help with the car so I hope my teamates and random friends will set up the car. I don't drive FWD ever so it will be a great challenge. I am excited.

Tip: There will lots of power understeer. Squaring off corners makes it easier. Feeding in power is crucial

I didn't really know what I wanted to choose. Then I remembered that I had a MINI that Flex tuned a long long time ago.

I am hitting 54.9's right now with my initial tune and build. I hope to get at least another 5 tenths out of it. I am sure the car could hit 54 flat with a proper driver and setup. I had fun practicing during lunch today, I am sure it will be a great set of races.

I haven't seen a RO step up yet, is this something we are supposed to plan out? Do we run the challenge without one if there is no one on tomorrow? Just wondering, as this is my first challenge. Thanks!

Hey Gashi, I'm in Great Lakes Chicago for my sons graduation, but you don't need me or any RO to conduct this match.

Ok, great! Tell your son congratulations on a job well done! I am assuming Navy graduation. Such a huge weekend. Oh, the memories! Have him look me up if he makes it out to the west coast/Washington area.

Gashi wins!
It was an epic battle between Gashi and Koenigsegg. Turn one ended up being Keonigseggs undoing causing him to lose first position in race one on lap 4, Gashi never really messing up bad enough to allow a pass after that in race one.
Race 2 saw Koenigsegg running away with it setting a personal best lap of 54.608 in the mini. Gashi just couldn't get his laps together until lap 8 or so but by then it was too little too late.
Race 3 saw Koenigsegg getting off to an early lead but staying very close was Gashi. It is important to note that both Gashi and Koenigsegg were having trouble keeping off the curbing throughout the race. In the third race Koenigsegg got too much curbing going through turns 2, 3, and 4 allowing Gashi past. The third race was a tribute to Gashi's consistancy as he took the lead and never really gave much back with Koenigsegg going off going up the hill leading to the backstretch to assure Gashi's victory.
Imediately following the race, Koenigsegg challenged Gashi to a rematch which will take place next Saturday at the same time. The track will be Suzuka East and the car will be the 2007 Porsche 997 RS - A850.
Koenigsegg had the fastest lap in all three races. 54.712 in race one, 54.608 in race two and 54.687 in race three. Next week should be a great one.

Re: 112 F4H Gashi X vs 111 VVV Koenigsegg - (2 - 1) - DONE!
It was really fun.
First race for me was more about getting to know the car on Road Atlanta Short. Unfortunately I turned in to late for Turn 1, so I came in the grass. Gashi was really doing a great pace and I could barely keep up with him. But still it was a very close race.
Second race was just perfect me. Almost everything went right for me. Gashi really pushed hard, but sometimes a little to hard. Again a close race, because you couldn't effort a mistake.
Third race went right for me the first few laps. After that I made a lot of mistakes, Gashi passed me and I tried to get back. I was at his rear in Lap 10. This time it was me who pushed to hard and crashed in the wall.
Really great 3 races with you Gashi!
Looking forward to next week.

This sounds exciting. Congrats to Gashi for the victory. lol but tell me, do rematches happen often with these? Cause technically speaking how is anyone supposed to move up if he has to keep racing the same guy? O_o

Technically, Koenigsegg is challenging me and I didn't have to accept it. I had a great time racing with Koenigsegg, I decided that a rematch would be fun so that is what we are going to do. It will be epic!
