Just to be extra clear:

1. You may use any legal car to post your best practice lap time for each round.  

2. You can then also use any car to qualify in, each round.  *Even if it is not the same car as your practice lap car.

3. The car you qualify in, each round, is the car you must race for that round. 

4. You are allowed to change out your qualy/race car each round too.

We do it this way because this is a Spec format where the cars are less flexible and able to adapt to different tracks. In a more open build format you would be required to stay in the car you first qualified in, for the whole season.

Sebring has been added to the Season 4 calendar.

Is there no one out there to challenge me, muhahahaha

Welcome to Season 4 and the "IFCA Super Spec Championship!"  

Our first race was perhaps the most unpredictable race we have had in a long time, which is a good thing.  Although the Ford Sierra Cosworth was the odds on favorite to win, it didn't stop many from taking their chances with other cars.  And this is what we hope to see more of in the future. 

Please Don't forget, you can change out your car each round.  You can use a different car to set your fastest practice lap during the week, and then, if you want, use a different car to qualify and race with.

Our individual winner and now season points leader was C1 Munz in a Sierra Cosworth.  He set the pole, gained the fastest race lap, and broke the track lap record with a blazing fast 1:59.007!  This helped his team "C1 Baguette E-Sport" secure first in the team standings as well.

Nailing down 2nd place was IFCA Eries also in a Cosworth, helping Team Penske to secure 2nd in the team points chase running a 2:00.773.

Taking 3rd was long time IFCA veteran DinoGrumps in the only Vauxhall Corsa with a respectable 2:00.999

Next weeks race is sure to be very close at the notched oval of Eagle Rock now that people have a better idea about the cars and tire strategy.

Sadly, once again the replay doesn't save, so there was no replay review to look at for livery compliance and contact.  I would advise everyone to get into compliance for when the replay does start to work again.
