FMUK V8 Megastars
I'm not good at the advertising lark I'm afraid, and it is short notice as we took a bit getting everything sorted. But, our final FM4 competition will start this Thursday at 8.30pm BST (3.30pm EST I believe).
Full details are in the thread below, but I'll copy the details below that. This one is a fixed build and tune. If anyone is interested feel free to sign up.

TEAMS - Teams make a return for this series!! In the interest of keeping it close/more fun, i would suggest a faster drivers team up with a slower driver?!
Dropped Scores - you have 2 dropped scores in this series. Handy for Real world or bad weeks as it will only take away the 2 worst scores!
Qualifying - qually will be run over several sessions during the week before.
Smokinmasta, Totlxtc, or Spiny will run open pit format for 30 mins or so. Collisions off, cosmetic damage and compare best laps. Host will note best clean lap time and enter times into a qually form. Results will be shown via the live timing page (TBC)
As in the REAL series as required cars may be tweaked either through lobby settings and or build/tune. These will be decided between smokinmasta, Totlxtc and Spiny via party chat and testing and reviewing replays on Friday, Saturday or Sunday following Thursday race
2 stand out cars have had their wings clipped and as such already have their on 'bucket' within the lobby settings!
The 2 door Merc C63 coupe (AMG black). This runs with 15% reduction in power and 5% less front grip.
M3 runs with simply 10% less power.

Will update OP to let you know most up to date version on SF

CHANGING CARS
There will be NO changing of cars in this series. But if you find the car your using is slower than you are :)Let smokinmasta, Spiny or Totlxtc know soonest
SIGN-IN PROCEDURE
The sign in thread will go up approximately five or six days before the race. Each competitor should sign into this thread.
If a driver is unable to race in any one week, he should sign "out" in the sign-in.
Sign-in will close at 7pm on the day of the race. Drivers failing to sign in by 7pm may still be able to race subject to the organiser's discretion (which will be based mainly on the availability of lobby spaces - I'm aiming not to exceed 10 in a lobby to avoid instability). Drivers signing out may nominate their skipped car for that week up to the 20.30 race start.
RACE NIGHT PROCEDURE
The host should aim to have the lobby up and running by 20:20 at the latest to allow time for all competitors to enter the lobby. The host will have a list of which order the drivers qualified in. We will have a 1 lap forming up race. The host will call out your postions. DO NOT move off until called. Keep to around 50 mph whilst everyone takes up places. Finish the one lapper in the order called by the host.
Week 1 will be random grid
Each race will last for approximately 20 minutes subject to the conditions below.
Race 1 = Qually order
Race 2 = REVERSE lobby points
LOBBY SETTINGS
QUALIFYING
Qualifying will be done during the week before with several hosts running qually sessions
PITS
There are no restrictions as to when/IF, or how often a driver stops in the race.
INCIDENTS
All on track incidents involving 3 or more cars within the first 5 mins or so will trigger a safety car
Please note that this series is being run with cosmetic for a change, Although this will allow some tapping, we dont expect drivers to behave likes a public hopper
SAFETY CAR PROCEDURE
As stated above, the safety car will be used during the first 5 minutes only of a race.
The lead car will lead the pack around at a safe, steady speed not exceeding 50mph until the entire field is in line. Cars should maintain a safe distance to the car in front and should not engage in weaving or sudden acceleration of braking as this is likely to lead to accidents. Any drivers making a pit stop under safety car conditions must rejoin the field at the back of the pack.
When the last driver(s) have caught up with the pack, he should wait until the field is on a straight before calling go. No overtaking is permitted until the exit of the first corner following the restart.
PENALTIES
In addition to any penalties imposed by the stewards, the following set penalties will be operating:
Failure to qualify - Driver moved to back of grid (in the event of several, you will be placed in series order).
For all penalties, the stewards may look at amending or overriding the standard sanction if it is felt there are unusual circumstances.
POINTS
In the unlikely event of there being more than one lobby, there will be a point bonus for each lobby below the lobby drivers are in, with the exception of week 1. For week 1, lobbies will be drawn at random. Subsequent weeks will be based on the weekly qually racing.
Full details are in the thread below, but I'll copy the details below that. This one is a fixed build and tune. If anyone is interested feel free to sign up.

Re: FMUK V8 Megastars
Would certainly be good to see some of come and have a go, although I realise the timing probably isn't the greatest from your side of the Atlantic:(
There's two dropped scores in this series though, so no problem if people can't make the first week (since I know it's short notice).
