Smurfy and I were talking about using web documents as a more effective way to sort out information. So we are now testing out Microsoft Excel's Web App for potential use in 2014. Can I just ask about my lap time, I was unable to set a clean lap due to d squared up my rear-end the whole race stealing slipstream lol if you watch the replay, all my laps are clean or close to it, I think it be unfair for me not to get the fastest lap,

As I remeber, the lap had to be clean to get the extra point. I dont Know about the updated rules.

How can it be clean in a race ?! When you have 10-12 cars on the track. they have to be within 3 seconds or so in front or behind to make your lap dirty. And over the course of a whole lap, that's almost impossible

The spirit of the rule is that someone can't get a clean lap if they are drafting someone or if they cut the course.

Therefore, if every lap was dirty, we can only assume the above. I'm not series admin, but if I were, I wouldn't give you the point. Forza works that way.

By the way, the driver has to be 1 second in front or behind to trigger the draft effect in the game. That means if you dirtied your lap through drafting, then you received some sort of illegal advantage in terms of the lap time itself.

I've had races where this has happened. If you wanted the point, you could've relinquished 1st place on track, and gave up some track position to be in clean air.

Racing is Not only to be fast,  strategy counts a lot.

U have to find the way to make a clean lap ( if u want the xtra point ) by using the pit stop or other idea.

You are a Team, and as i saw you both were alone in the front of the race, so a different Pit Stop stretegy of at least 2 laps difference between u, can give u the chance to make a clean lap.

if your fastest lap was dirty, through draft or cutting, then it does not count, just like qualifying, clean laps count and are valid, a dirty lap is invalid, therefore you would not be receiving the bonus point for fastest lap, sorry

But my laps were clean !!Watch the replay, in no way did I violate any law. Due to having someone racing against me, I'm illegible for the quickest lap !? Its not common sense

I'm just co operative and want that extra point :-(
And in my opinion I deserved it, I set a 48.3 which was an outstanding lap.

The only thing here that seems to be stupid is, Why Forza penalize the guy in front?

The replay only last like 28 minutes, and no way to know on what lap the fastes is made. So the rest of the 32 minutes are impossible to check.

Like lap 10-14 mate , check any lap after the second and it'll be sub 50's

I know you are fast, and yes, the fastest on season 4 so far, but  you just need to settle down and understand how the game works.

Dirty lap means here that is not suitable for the xtra point.  Want it, search the way to get one.

Rules are the same for all of us, so this not afect only you.  If I want a clean lap, i have to build a strategy that lets me to do that.



On season 2, three of the fastest guys on the series ( and IFCA ) battle each race, and dont ask me how, they always finished with a clean lap.

Also, on season 2 i got on ST the fstest lap, and it was because it was clean. So i remeber when GT Don name it ¨the fastes clean lap¨

your time was that fast because you were in the draft

Drafting can help your lap time. That's why only clean laps count.

You have to pit or not draft to stay clean.

You guys needed to pit on different laps to get away from each other. lol

Oh and if anyone is able to record gameplay, I bet our races would be well watched if it was streamed live onto twitch.

The reason the draft affects the car in front is the same reason the two-car tandem drafting worked at Daytona and Talladega. I believe it takes some air off the rear spoiler of the car in front. Dirty is Dirty. It's like arguing a NASCAR speeding penalty.

About the video stream, I have been wanting it for quite some time. It costs a lot of money to put it together.
