[ForzaUniverse] Endurance Championship
Hello and welcome to the next Tuesday night series here at ForzaUniverse. Following the success of the Toyota Yaris cup we are sticking to the 4week series length. However from that everything changes.
This series will feature two classes to race in and both sets of cars will be racing on endurance tyres (drag tyres). Both sets of classes will be running on the track at the same time so if more than 16 sign up the lobbies will be split as evenly as possible.
The races will be 45 minutes with a mandatory pitstop window early on to make you really think about not only how to drive your car but to maximise your strategy. The cars will be in S and R1 class.
Series information:
Race night: Tuesday
Series length: 4 weeks
Start time: 9.30pm (lobby open from 9.15) BST
Race format (all races except Le mans):
Qualifying: Superpole (outlap, flying lap)
Race: 45minutes. Mandatory pitstop window within first 10minutes of racing
The lobby format will be set using the Distanced travelled mode. The overall race time will show as 5 minutes more than total race time, the lobby host will announce when the 45minutes have finished drivers will then continue to race the rest of their current lap and once completed not their total mileage and time left on race timer when crossing the line.
The Cars:
So we can regulate this series the cars will be open tuning but fixed build. Please ensure your car is running the correct build as any driver found to be running an illegal build will be punished.

For this series there will be no safety car and re-starts will only be allowed if 50% of the field is involved in a single incident.
Please note the series will be running limited damage so any collisions will cause damage to your car and your fellow racers, this will seriously affect your overall time and fun whilst racing s please be sensible when overtaking.
When drivers are attempting to lap fellow racers it is down to the faster driver to find his way past the slower car. It is expected that the faster driver lets the person he/ she is lapping with a clear direction as to where they are placing their car, so to avoid an incident.
This series features three championships.
Audi Trophy:
This is solely for the R1 Class drivers. This will be a championship fought by each driver for themselves. The total amount of points at the end of the series, will result in their position in the overall drivers standing at the end of the series. There will only be an overall Championship, no separate table for privateers.
BMW GT cup;
This is solely for the S Class drivers. This will be a championship fought by each driver for themselves. The total amount of points at the end of the series, will result in their position in the overall drivers standing at the end of the series. There will only be an overall Championship, no separate table for privateers.
Teams championship:
The team championship will consist of 1 driver from the Audi trophy and 1 driver from the BMW GT cup. Teams are encouraged to be formed on a PRO-AM style format to make the most of the two classes.
Look forward to seeing you guys in race.
