Hello and welcome to the next series of the TfC Muscle competition. The popular series is back with a bang and new date.

The rules have been tweaked and we have some new venues for this season but still the same challenge will face the drivers; Tame the beasts. We have said slimmed the car list down for this season but only the ones we didn’t want to use or weren’t run last season.

Qualifying:

Qualifying will commence at 9pm. Any driver in the lobby by 20.59 will miss qualifying so get in with plenty of time
You will have 3 laps to set your fastest time.

On lap 4 YOU WILL STOP off the track at turn 2 and allow the lobby host to take down the times. Once the times have been taken you may finish the race when the host tells you to.

The lobbies will then be based from these times. So if 24 people qualify the fastest 12 will go in lobby A and the next 12 in lobby B.
Once in your correct race lobby a parade lap will put you into your grid positions for race 1.

The races:

Each race night will have 2 races around the same track. Both races will be the same length (around 10-15mins each) and will have NO mandatory pit stop.

Round 3&4 – Sedona full reverse

 • Drivers teamed up must run the same car. Builds may differ between team mates though.

Connections and restarts:
Signing in:

Signing in for your race will be open until 7.30pm on race day. If you say you are a maybe this will be counted as a no so please let us know as soon as you can. We understand that in some occasions you might say you can race but are then unavailable at short notice. Please when you are able to let us know so it doesn’t count as a no show.
Please only sign up if you have the intention of racing.

SOME RULES AND GUIDELINES FOR ALL

CONNECTION ISSUES

Here is a guide to sorting out your lobbies as fast as possible when connection problems are evident.
Connection Issues - What to do - Please read

In the race:

If a crash happens on lap 1 affecting 4 or more drivers then please call out that an accident has happened. The host will call a restart and everyone can quit to the lobby once the host confirms the restart. Quit before at your own peril

If during the race there is an incident involving 4 cars the host may call for a safety car procedure to be used. This will involve the lead driver slowing down to a speed that allows the other drivers to catch back up, and the field to therefore re-group. ONLY the host can call this and it should only be used in exceptional circumstances. During a safety car phase drivers are not allowed to overtake but can pit in to change tyres.

All drivers need to make sure they have signed the racing etiquette thread otherwise you can’t race.

Can all Drivers NOTE: 2 wheels to remain on the tarmac at all times (unless you go into the litter Wink ) a minor off maybe noted as racing but no gain is to had either in time or places. If you cut corners over and over expect a penalty, you have been warned. If you suspect or see corner cutting, report it to Guru, Stewards or even Mods. Save a replay and note time, place and who.

Thanks and clean racing

wow this sounds like a lot of fun, to bad I have class and another series i am commited to on thursdays at the moment. Do you let people drop in every so often or do they have to race every week? I know that in the IFCA calender we take a week off every 4 races so maybe I can drop in on an off week and try it out. Good luck to all of your racers, can't wait to see the ratings pile in!

yeah, same with my series on Mondays - you guys are more than welcome to grab the cars and come join us - if you cant make the races at least come in the lobbies and talk to my guys about what you are doing it would be good exposure for both of our series. I will build some cars off of your list, let me know what kind of lap times I should be looking for so I have an idea how fast or slow I am Razz you can pm them to me if you dont want to use up forum space.

well i drove the Cuda-S and the 2 Fords - I love that you have a sports transmition it makes the car nasty in the corners and you really have to decide if you can brake late or play it safe and brake early to have the revs in the right place for exit, I really liked the Shelbys too great little cars compared to some of the beasts, i had a lot of fun playing with the cars i built and its a shame I cant make it to the races until the semester ends, these cars are fun to drive.

let me know how it goes - I think it might be harder for people to get the most out of their cars if they switched to the twin-screw superchargers to get exactly 500HP. I played with about 100 different engine part combinations, for the most part every car can get exactly 500HP, every car can get the required parts and racing tires (except for maybe 1 or 2 of them) and ever car ends up at the right weight from what I have seen. Some cars need after market rims as well.

Thanks Guru. Just a reminder for you and your drivers, the ratings are rather provisional for now. It takes a few races for them to become more stable and accurate.
