This is sad. You'd think all the modern renovations could've prevented something like this.

Very sad day indeed. We tend to forget that real racing is very dangerous even in these modern times, and, it always will be.

We can never be too safe, ya know? The risks are and will always be there, no matter what we do. It's just sad to see that a driver who was running very well get caught up in someone else's mistake and pay the ultimate price.

This was a very horrible event that happened, i watched it unfold on tv and when his car got airborne like that i knew it wasnt going to end well, even with all the inovations in racing and stuff, at those speeds you make your choice and stick to it. He died what he loved doing. RIP Dan Wheldon
