Jimmie Johnson's Anything with an Engine
I plan on getting this game for two reasons:
1. It's Jimmie Johnson's
2. Who doesn't want to race a toilet!
They haven't announced when it will debut, but I think should be here by the holidays.
It will debutOct. 25 Nov. 1, but is availible for preorder.
Price: $30

I just don't have time to play very much so games like this will never make it in my Xbox. Let us know how it is though when it does come out.

If the price is right I might buy it. The last racing game I bought I pre-ordered Blur and paid full price now you can get it for $ 19.95. I will wait until the price drop on Jimmie Johnson's Anything with an Engine, before I get it. Especially since I am on a fixed income now and can't pay for things like I used to.

Re: Jimmie Johnson's Anything with an Engine
Ok, so I finally got it, and here's a bit of a summary about it:
1. It gives a good explanation on how to play the game when you first start.
2. It gives you a career mode of 8 different "cups", 7 "challenges" each, which is a good length for a career mode.
3. It has a great selection of characters (my favorite is "Couch Potato").
4. In order to win each cup, you must beat (in the 7th round) Jimmie Johnson in his own custom machine in a side-by-side "Duel mode" race, that is, if you beat the other AI.
5. Selection of weapons includes "Mines", "Missiles", "Rams", and "Nitro".
I really like his game, and it's fun to play whenever I don't feel like playing FM4.

Re: Jimmie Johnson's Anything with an Engine
Today I finished the entire career mode on rookie difficulty.
And something else I want to add:
At every track, there is something called "Expert Shortcuts". This where behind a wall or something, there is a path made of wooden planks that can get you from last to first if go through it without falling over the edge. You get an achievement if you master them all. I really like this extra in the game.

Re: Jimmie Johnson's Anything with an Engine
I just wanted to add something else to this review:
AWAE doesn't work on Xbox Live (especially Quick Race) for some reason. I know it works for others, because there hasn't been an update to fix it. Maybe it's because I'm not 18 . That's likely the only part I do not like.
